Our commitment

At Airgarden, our mission has always been crystal clear: to create a solution that's a win-win for both people and the planet. We chose to manufacture Airgarden locally instead of opting for cheaper offshore options. We believe in complete transparency, ensuring you know exactly what goes into our products and materials. By keeping production close to home, we minimize unnecessary transport miles. The best part: the Airagard isn't just another disposable item destined for the landfill. It's designed to be recycled and repurposed into other fantastic products. How? Through the magic of aeroponic technology. With Airgarden, we've reduced water and space resource usage by a staggering 95%. We don't use any chemicals to grow nutrient-dense and delicious food. It's garden-to-table, no artificial stuff. But wait, there's more! Our system also tackles the issue of food waste head-on. By harvesting only what you need, we're cutting down on unnecessary waste making sure every bite counts.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

The Airgarden unit is made from all Australian UV stabilised, food-grade plastic. Food-grade plastic has a required level of purity and doesn't include any materials that are potentially hazardous if consumed by humans. It will never end up in landfill & can be recycled into other products Water and nutrients are recycled over and over, meaning the Airgarden uses 95% less water than soil-based gardening. Plants are grown in 100% organic 'coco-coir' plugs, and fed with our 100% natural earth-mineral nutrient solution. Reducing food waste is the 3rd most effective way to address climate change. By growing your own you only pick what you need, meaning no more sad bags of wilted day-old herbs and veggies thrown in the bin.
