Our commitment

At Baby Todd we pride ourselves on doing everything right by our customers, both legally and ethically. We are the first tagless basics brand, who offers their customers the most comfortable and versatile clothing for babies, toddlers and kids. BT is an environmentally friendly brand. We use compostable, biodegradable & recyclable packaging wherever possible. We understand that it is also impossible to be 100% sustainable, but we try to do everything we can to make this possible. Our products are ethically made in the People’s Republic of China and our versatile Bamboo Basics are ecofriendly; they have been sourced from factories that meet high standards of environmental practices including sourcing fabric sustainably, as best they can.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

Reducing waste and educating our customers on sustainability and recycling. All packaging is biodegradable or recyclable Minimising bulk orders of stock and new styles, as we want to be part of the fashion movement and not order too much or contribute to landfill.

  • How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

We offer Bamboo and Cotton fabrics which have been sourced from factories that meet high standards of environmental practices including sourcing fabric sustainably, as best they can.

  • Do you partner with ethical factories that meet international labor standards? What processes have you implemented to make your supply chain more sustainable?

We want to be part of the slow fashion movement by seeking to “slow down” our supply demand - we address waste and promote conscious consumption, encouraging our customers to always purchase just the basics, what they need, and passing on their basics from child to child. We do not purchase new products and style every season like some other brands, as we do not want to contribute to landfill. In addition to buying fewer products, proponents of slow fashion look for eco-friendly materials, like cotton and Bamboo. Our Bamboo is also made from bamboo and spandex, not mixed with or sourced from viscose and modal, like a lot of other bamboo products out there.

  • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

Besides financial donations from Baby Todd to various charities and Go Fund me pages, we have collaborated with other small business in giveaways over the past couple of years, whereby participants nominate people in need of our products, We donated a lot of our Basics to families in need, especially during the horrible floods of 2021. Also to victims of the Bushfires who had lost everything. We also send some to charities in the Philippines.

  • How has your company made a commitment to achieve and maintain inclusion & diversity (e.g. Gender / Race / Ethnicity / National Origin / Sexual Orientation / Religion / Disability / Age)?

We accept and welcome people of all races, cultures, colours etc Our brand is built on being as versatile and diverse as possible.
