Carpet Court

Choosing the right flooring is an important decision and one that you will live with for years. Your floor or carpet is the very foundation of your interior space and often sets the tone for how the room feels.

Our commitment

As Australia's largest retail floor covering specialist, Carpet Court is committed to being an industry leader that addresses the growing needs of environmentally sustainable products, all without compromising quality or performance.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

Carpet Court have formed a partnership with global yarn supplier Aquafil, creating a number of new exciting carpet ranges with an interesting distinction from our traditional carpets. ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon is 100% recycled yarn made of nylon waste such as fishing nets, fabric scraps and old carpets. It is recycled from Nylon 6 pre-and post-consumer waste, and through Aquafil’s innovative recycling process, the resultant yarn is exactly in the form it was made in the first place - Nylon 6 – only ready for carpet use again.

Wool fibres provide a multitude of benefits for you and your home, including hypoallergenic qualities - Genuine oak veneer sourced from sustainable forests and FSC Certified - Rugs made from 100% recycled plastic bottles

  • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

Carpet Court supports an organisation called RizeUp, by supplying products that help turn houses into homes, for families fleeing domestic violence situations. RizeUp Australia is a community-driven organisation of passionate men and women, dedicated to supporting the brave families affected by domestic and family violence. RizeUp relies on donations of cash, goods, services and gift vouchers from the community, businesses and foundations.
