Our commitment

We believe that the human spirit is enriched by living in a beautiful environment; from a unique home that is an extension of oneself to a beautiful planet whose precious resources are valued and reused - we all have the power to create the environment we want to live in. We are committed to: - reducing the amount of unwanted textiles going to landfill. - ensuring that textile resources are used to their fullest potential in all stages of their life. - taking full responsibility for the end of life of our products through our take-back scheme - making considered decisions in all we do to ensure we always contine to 'do better'

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

Eco Interiors was founded as a brand specifically focused on environmental issues and from the start it was paramount that we consider our impact in everything we do. We currently make a large number of our products from textiles that would generally be consider waste such as sample book fabrics, end of roll pieces and remnants from other processes. We package our products in a mixture of compostable, recycled, recyclable and reuseable packaging. We ship with carbon neutral transport companies (Sendle and Australia Post). We have a take back and reuse scheme for all our products.

We offer a take back scheme for all our products: - items that are unusable are recycled as fill for other products - items that still have some useable fabric will have that fabric reused and the remainder recycled as fill for other products - items that are in excellent second hand condition are rehomed by our soon to be established second hand market place - we reward our customers, by way of a discount, for seeing the inherent value in our textile resources and returning them to us. - we are trialing a postage paid return sytem for all our packaging and promotional material so that we can reuse materials if appropriate.
