Our Sustainability Framework

• Emissions & Key Environmental Issues

  What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

  Any product which doesn't meet our strict quality standards is donated to food banks and local charities. We recycle/reuse our packaging where possible from customers. Our customer boxes are made from recycled cardboard, our thermal liners are recycled sheep's wool and the food-grade plastic covering on the liners is fully recyclable. The ice bricks we use have non-toxic gel which can be safely rinsed down the sink and the plastic cover is recyclable.

• Materials

  How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

  Food trays are compostable pulp, boxes are recycled cardboard, thermal liners are made from recycled wool, plastic outers on the liners are recyclable, paper tape used on the boxes.

• Service Offering

  How are the service/s you offer environmentally friendly?

  We outsource all our deliveries, picking, packing and storage as not to add additional carbon to the atmosphere.

• Community Initiatives

  How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

  Donations of food to food banks and local charities. Helping underprivileged families with food donations.

  We use a label printing company who provides work for mentally and physically challenged people.
