INIKA Organic

INIKA Organic

We’ve taken a modern and organic approach that replaces standard beauty products with something naturally extraordinary. We pride ourselves on creating 100% natural products that are effective and completely free of synthetics.

Our commitment

It's not just what’s on the inside that counts, we carefully assess the impact our packaging has on the environment. 90% of our packaging is made from sustainable & reusable materials. We have minimised our virgin plastic use by 84%, from 8.1 to 1.3 tonnes. We are proudly leading the way in sustainable beauty, being the first certified plastic neutral makeup brand globally. Plastic Neutral certification assures responsible plastic waste management. For every kilo of plastic we put into the environment, one kilo that would otherwise have gone to landfill is collected and recycled. The plastic that we collect in the process goes to Plastic Forests and BlazeAid who make and donate plastic posts and garden stakes to Australian farmers that have been devastated by bush fires and droughts.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

We carefully assess the impact our packaging has on the environment. We draw from a mix of sustainable options that are recyclable and upcycled (reused). 90% of our packaging is made from sustainable & reusable materials. We are proudly leading the way in sustainable beauty, being the first certified plastic neutral makeup brand globally. We work with charities to collect and repurpose 4.7 tonnes of plastic in 2022. This plastic is then repurposed and made into fence posts to help rebuild communities effected by flood, fire & drought. Compassion for animals is central to our brand values, so we will never harm them nor damage habitats in our process. All our products are Certified Vegan and Cruelty-Free, always. At INIKA, we pride ourselves on only using 100% natural ingredients in all our products. We also take care to ensure all our ingredients and packaging are sustainable and ethically sourced. This means that unlike conventional cosmetics which are filled with petrochemicals created from crude oil, our products are only created using natural mineral deposits and renewable agricultural feedstocks.

Through our plastic neutral initiative, we work with charities to collect and repurpose 4.7 tonnes of plastic in 2022. This plastic is then repurposed and made into fence posts to help rebuild communities effected by flood, fire & drought.
