Katie Perry

You have just discovered a purpose-driven fashion brand with sustainability and kindness woven into its very fabric. It all begins with a sustainable approach to people, process, and product. Premium basics for men, women and home. Made in Australia

Our commitment

We use responsibly sourced natural fabrics like certified non-mulesed merino wool that will biodegrade at the end of it's lifespan – nothing about our brand is ‘fast fashion.’ Our production is mindful, too. Traceability of our supply chain is a core expectation and absolutely necessary. For this reason our strategy has always been to keep a narrow supply base and to develop long-term relationships with suppliers who hold the same values as ourselves. 100% of our production is made in Australia, jobs are provided locally at a fair wage and shipping emissions are reduced for distance. Our brand values flow through out all touch points of the business. We utilise very little plastic or non-recyclable materials in shipping packages, in the studio and in the stockroom. Every purchase supports certified projects that not only plant trees, prevent or sequester carbon and plastic but also have a long term positive social impact.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

100% of our clothing is made in Australia, jobs are provided locally at a fair wage and shipping emissions are reduced for distance. Our production house is only 10 kms from our office. The majority of our fabric is knitted and dyed in Melbourne. Other limited edition fabrics are remnants that would otherwise end up in landfill. We use Hero packaging and Sendle to ship out orders. Our office is always working towards 100% plastic free. We utilise very little plastic or non-recyclable materials in shipping packages, in the studio and in the stockroom. All stock is delivered on recycled hangers or in cardboard boxes. Our ribbon for gift wrapping is left over fabric. Our gift boxes are left unbranded so they can be reused again and again. Our merino wool collection is zero waste so nothing ends as landfill. We joined Greenspark to ensure that KATIE PERRY has a positive impact on our planet and its people. Since August 2022 we have planted 667 trees, saved 1654 plastic bottles from the ocean.
