Our commitment
We strive to create plastic free shampoo, conditioner, body wash and face bars, made from high quality Naturopath selected, plant-based formulas. Using the best organic ingredients we can source, with only the best of intentions for the planet and our Nuebar users. Naturopath formulated means no parabens, sulphates or silicones and pH balanced for sensitive skin. Our products are poured by hand, ensuring no additional filler are required for machine production, because we strongly believe slow production of our bars is Better for you and Better for our Mother Earth. 1 concentrated Nuebar bar equals an average of 3 plastic bottles of liquid shampoo or conditions, ensuring zero plastic waste for you and your family.
Our Sustainability Framework
What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?
Plastic free packaging, all biodegradable + compostable, including our bits bags. Plant based product, using organically grown, where possible. No SLS, SLES, parabens, silicones, petroleum by-products or artificial fragrances. No machine production, slow made by hand in our solar powered laboratory in the Blue Mountains Undiluted concentrated products. We donate back to Tangaroa Blue who are focussed on cleaning up the oceans for every sale. We offer a plastic recycling program through Terracycle for old shampoo, conditioner and beauty waste from other brands.

Do you partner with ethical factories that meet international labor standards? What processes have you implemented to make your supply chain more sustainable?
All products are manufactured by hand in our own laboratory in the Blue Mountains, NSW. We employ local, Blue Mountains people to provide job opportunities in our local region. All products are made, packed and sent from the one location, reducing our carbon footprint.
How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?
