Paperbark Camp

Paperbark Camp

Hidden in a tranquil bush setting on the banks of a sleepy waterway, just minutes from the pristine beaches of Jervis Bay is Paperbark Camp, Australia’s original luxury safari camp. Escape from the everyday and get back to nature in style.

Our commitment

Since its inception over 25 years ago, Paperbark Camp has been at the forefront of sustainable tourism and maintains advanced eco accreditation. Increasingly people seek to limit their negative impacts on the environment and are choosing holidays and destinations that place sustainability at the centre of their decision making and operations. At Paperbark Camp the aim is to tread as lightly on the environment as possible and help our guests to enjoy their stay whilst also having minimal impact on the natural beauty of Jervis Bay. From purchasing policies, to menu planning, low impact activities such as bikes and canoes to explore the area and supporting the protection of the Marine and National Parks, the main objective is always minimal impact on the environment. Increasingly the focus is to encourage connection to Country by seeking knowledge and experience from the traditional custodians, the Wadi Wandian people of the Yuin Nation.
