Our commitment

Our appetite for eco-conscious practices is second only to our hunger for healthy food. We're committed to growing a sustainable company from top to bottom. And that means working towards a future where plastic-free products are stored in our green-powered warehouse and delivered with electric vans. That's the goal, anyway. Today, we're committed to introducing brands that make the planet a better place. Around 90% of our products are Certified Organic or Certified Demeter Biodynamic (farmed holistically and ethically). Most of these are Australian Made, sourced directly from suppliers making an impact. From off-grid honey-making facilities to self-sustaining olive groves, our partners' list of contributions is humbling. Farmers engaged in regenerative farming practices, a coffee company empowering female growers in developing countries and natural beauty bars preventing millions of plastic bottles from reaching our oceans and landfill - to name only a few.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

Ethics sit at the core of our business, and environmental issues are naturally a high priority. We are excited to announce that we will soon implement a carbon management solution to reduce our environmental impact. This solution, a carbon credit program, calculates the carbon emissions from our operations and offsets them. It also gives customers the option to offset carbon from their purchases.

  • How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

There is too much waste when it comes to packaging, and we've worked hard to make ours environmentally friendly. First, we re-purpose the packaging & boxes that we receive from our suppliers. Next, we source boxes made from 100% recycled cardboard. The protection paper inside? That's 100% recyclable and biodegradable too. We even use eco-friendly kraft paper-based 'sticky tape' to seal our parcels. So you can conveniently recycle the box, tape and all.

  • How are the service/s you offer environmentally friendly?

Please refer to earlier questions. We introduce and discuss out efforts in carbon management and sustainable packaging.

  • Do you partner with ethical factories that meet international labor standards? What processes have you implemented to make your supply chain more sustainable?

We choose our suppliers for what they make. And the difference they are making. Considering the integrity of every ingredient, coupled with the ethical & sustainable practices of each brand, we only present products that meet the highest standards. We do the hard yards of research, so you don't have to. Scrutinising tins of sustainable, line-caught tuna and tubes of fluoride-free kids' toothpaste to pick and present the best. This ensures only the most nutritious, sustainable, and ethically sourced products reach our website (and your home!) From off-grid honey-making facilities to self sustaining olive groves, our partners' list of contributions is humbling. Farmers engaged in regenerative farming practices, a coffee company empowering female growers in developing countries and natural beauty bars preventing millions of plastic bottles from reaching our oceans and landfill - to name only a few.

  • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

An estimated 7.3 billion kilograms of food is wasted each year in Australia, while one in five Australians experience food insecurity. As a business that believes access to healthy food is a fundamental right, we wanted to play a role in changing this. That is why we proudly partner with SecondBite, Australia's most efficient national food rescue organisation. Together, we ensure that good food reaches people who need it most, ending unnecessary waste and hunger. Food rescued by SecondBite is distributed to 1,400+ Australian charities and non-profits that create nutritious meals for families in crisis, elderly and low-income people, refugees and asylum seekers and the homeless. For every Part&Parcel membership sold, we financially support SecondBite in sourcing, preparing and delivering five meals to Australians in need.

  • How has your company made a commitment to achieve and maintain inclusion & diversity (e.g. Gender / Race / Ethnicity / National Origin / Sexual Orientation / Religion / Disability / Age)?

We strive to create the kind of culture we want to be a part of—one where diverse perspectives flourish and people feel they truly belong. Our commitment is to: - Ensure P&P values and culture support diversity and inclusion throughout our workplace. - Focus on continuous education that helps us work beyond our biases and grow together in a more inclusive environment. - Achieve best practices for equitable hiring, growth, and pay for every team member. - Use our influence to create positive change throughout the industry and society. - Work with suppliers who share and support these beliefs and practices to the best of their ability.
