Our commitment

“Poshmark has empowered millions of people to establish their own businesses through selling secondhand. Our impact is a direct result of our community of sellers, and how they are making the fashion system more connected, circular, and sustainable,” said Manish Chandra, Founder and CEO of Poshmark. “By providing an all-in-one platform to simplify the secondhand shopping experience, Poshmark makes it easy, simple and fun to participate in the circular economy.”

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

From using eco-friendly packaging and upcycling, to keeping vintage and unique clothing in circulation, to building awareness for sustainable brands and using the Reposh feature, the Poshmark community puts sustainability at the forefront and redefines what the fashion industry could be.

  • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

Every day, Poshmark sellers combine heart and hustle to turn passion into profit. To help them get closer to their goals — whether that’s making extra money, scaling their business, supporting the circular economy, or turning a side hustle into something bigger — Poshmark wants to recognize and empower entrepreneurs and dream chasers who believe and demonstrate that heart and hustle go hand-in-hand.

  • How does your circular model or circular initiative work?

Poshmark allows anyone to buy and sell secondhand style right from their phone, in just 60 seconds. List: Take a few photos of the item, write a quick description, set the price and it's up for sale — in just 60 seconds! And, with the addition of our Reposh feature, sellers have a simple, one-click way to resell items bought on our marketplace. Sell: When an item sells, Poshmark sends a push notification to the seller along with an email with a pre-addressed, pre-paid Sendle shipping label. Ship: The Sendle shipping label can be placed on any box, and once the item is shipped, Poshmark then tracks the package on its way to the buyer. The buyer pays for shipping, which is A$9.95 + GST and will be delivered in 1-2 weeks, though the majority of Poshmark sellers ship their orders within a few days of purchase. Earn: Sellers earn 80% of the sale price on items A$20 or above, and Poshmark takes a flat commission of A$3.95 for sales under A$20. These fees cover all backend logistics including payments, managing the shipping process, and customer service, and Poshmark will only release payment to the seller when the buyer accepts the item.
