• Emissions & Key Environmental Issues

  What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

  Rolla Bottles were developed to make it easy to always carry a reusable bottle and say no to planet damaging single-use plastics. Our entire business mission is dedicated to ensuring sustainable products and processes and creating products which make it easier for people to be sustainable. Rolla Bottles are manufactured from high-quality materials in line with the highest international manufacturing standards to ensure they are both safe and durable. Rolla Bottles are so high quality and durable that the silicone body parts will last, and as part of our commitment to the planet, to make sure that the whole bottle lasts we provide a free replacement guarantee on all parts - for life! Our manufacturing partner has been selected on their sustainability credentials, and their factory and processes are sustainability certified. Rolla Bottle places great importance not just on providing solutions to make future behaviour more sustainable, but also in contributing to fixing the damage already done. 10% of our profits go to Clean Ocean Campaigns to clean plastic from the marine environment

• Materials

  How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

  Rolla Bottles are made from premium food grade silicone, a material that is safe, inert, and naturally BPA free. Silicone is environmentally friendly to produce and is long-lasting and extremely durable. Rolla Bottles are design to last, and at the end of their life the silicone bottle is biodegradable. The lids are made from polypropylene and are fully recyclable. The bottle, lid, and strap are in separate components to ensure that if a part breaks it can be easily replaced without the bottle going to landfill. Rolla Bottle offer a lifetime guarantee on all parts of the bottle. Customers have the option of selecting display box packaging or a low waste swing tag, with both the fully recyclable box and swing tags made using FSC certified paper and vegetable-based inks. The mailing boxes are fully recyclable, and the packing tape is made from recyclable paper.

• Supply Chain

  Do you partner with ethical factories that meet international labor standards? What processes have you implemented to make your supply chain more sustainable?

  Our manufacturing partner was also selected on their ethical workplace practices, which we personally inspect. They are certified inline with Ethical Workplace Condition standards. We meet and hand-select all our manufacturing partners to ensure their operations are in line with our values, and are certified for ethical workplace practices and sustainability credentials. (Certified to Ethical Workplace C).

• Community Initiatives

  How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

  Rolla Bottle is not just about stemming the problem, we contribute to the solution. As part of the Jellyfish 10 initiative, we commit 10% of all Rolla profits to the plastic-pollution clean-up solution via donations to various clean ocean campaigns and organisations working to remove plastic already in our oceans. We support local beach and ocean clean-ups as well as the global initiative The Ocean Clean Up. You will see the Jellyfish 10% logo proudly displayed on all Rolla Bottles. The jellyfish symbolises the plastic pieces in the ocean that are often mistaken for marine life such as jellyfish and eaten by other sea creatures and birds thinking it is food. The projects we are supporting and the impact we are helping create will feature on our newsletters and social media updates.
