Savic Motorcycles

Savic Motorcycles is a multi-award winning Aussie brand, championing electric transport with innovative design. Committed to excellence, we aim to redefine the future with high-performance electric motorcycles and sustainable apparel.

Our commitment

From our inception, sustainability has anchored our mission. As innovators in the electric motorcycle sector, we offer zero-emission transport. Beyond transportation, our apparel, crafted from recycled materials like rPET and recycled cotton, is a testament to our eco-commitment, produced in BSCI and WRAP certified environments. Our green ethos also shines in our packaging, embracing biodegradable materials and eco-inks. We're proud contributors to Australia's carbon reduction efforts, with the opportunity to eliminate 215kg of CO2e yearly for each electric rider. But our vision extends further. We're exploring battery recycling, focusing on second-life battery applications, and striving to reduce supply chain emissions. By aligning with eco-conscious partners, we champion products that are both recyclable and recycled. Our journey is continuous, but our dedication to a greener tomorrow is steadfast.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

At the core of our mission is zero-emission transportation through our electric motorcycles. We're actively exploring battery recycling for second life applications, such as home energy use, minimizing the environmental toll of battery waste. Our commitment to reducing waste shines with our 100% recyclable aluminium frames and biodegradable packaging materials used to support our apparel. Our material choices, from vegan leather seats to the exploration of recycled plastics for bodywork, underscore our dedication to ethical and sustainable practices.

  • How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

Our commitment to environmentally-friendly materials is unwavering, even with the inherent challenges of motorcycle manufacturing. For our motorcycles, we've incorporated sustainable choices such as vegan leather seats and are constantly investigating eco-friendly alternatives. Additionally, our frames utilize recyclable aluminium, and we're probing the potential of recycled plastics for bodywork. The true testament to our sustainable innovation lies in our apparel line. We proudly craft seasonal collections from recycled PET plastics and cotton, offering top-tier garments that harmoniously blend style with planet-conscious decisions.

  • How are the service/s you offer environmentally friendly?

Our services are at the forefront of environmental responsibility. By championing the Australian two-wheeled EV sector, we're significantly aiding Australia's ambitious goal of slashing carbon emissions by 43% by 2030. Beyond transportation, our apparel division epitomizes sustainable innovation. We continually look for innovations and craft streetwear that seamlessly marries sustainability with comfort and style.

  • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

While we're still in our early stages as a startup, giving back to the community is deeply embedded in our values. We've championed mental health causes, making contributions to initiatives like Mental Health Week and supporting men's health through donations to the Movember Foundation. Our commitment to fostering the next generation is evident in our collaborations with universities. We offer internships across various departments, providing students with invaluable real-world experience. Moreover, our CEO has been actively involved in a university mentoring program, guiding and nurturing budding talent. Additionally, we're passionate about enriching our local community. We seize opportunities to sponsor local events and activities, underscoring our commitment to community growth and connection.

  • How has your company made a commitment to achieve and maintain inclusion & diversity (e.g. Gender / Race / Ethnicity / National Origin / Sexual Orientation / Religion / Disability / Age)?

Our commitment to inclusion and diversity is integral to our ethos. We uphold a stringent equal opportunity and anti-discrimination policy, ensuring fair treatment irrespective of age, disability, gender, race, or other factors. This commitment isn't confined to our team; it extends to our contractors, ensuring a collective vision of equality. Our recruitment process exemplifies our pledge, with expansive, unbiased channels for job advertising, and a selection process focused solely on merit and skill. Our diverse team, hailing from varied backgrounds and united by a love for motorcycles and engineering, reflects our dedication. Together, we champion a workspace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
