Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

Our products themselves are compostable at the end of their life. All of our packaging is recyclable and made from recycled cotton paper or recycled card. We use botanical dyes to colour our products naturally.

  • How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

We use natural fibres and our products are either Organic Certified by GOTS or 100% recycled cotton.

  • How are the service/s you offer environmentally friendly?

We strive to use zero plastic in packing, packaging and posting our products.

  • Do you partner with ethical factories that meet international labor standards? What processes have you implemented to make your supply chain more sustainable?

We have Social Accountability Accreditation, ensuring our products are produced ethically. As frequently as we can we visit the factory and work with our manufacturer.

  • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

We have enjoyed running a Tataki Zome workshop at a local primary school, instilling the ideals of Mottainai or Zero Waste in the Foundation Students.

When our products have serviced you to the best of their long-lived ability they can be composted to return to the earth from which they grew. Cotton is a nourishing compost especially when grown and manufactured organically.
