Our commitment

We created VITUS® out of a passion to create the highest quality, cleanest & greenest wholefood supplements yet. We saw a gap in the market for a wholefood nutrition range that was truly 100% pure and transparent. Unlike other brands, VITUS® is family (& vegan) owned. There are no hidden investors or dodgy ingredients - it’s pure goodness, all wrapped up in 100% recyclable or compostable packaging. ‘Plants, not plastic’ is our mantra for everything, from packaging, to delivery, brochures and anything else you can think of.

Our Sustainability Framework

  • What is your company doing to reduce your emissions or combat key environmental issues (e.g. waste (packaging, end of life product strategy or recycling), biodiversity, land use, water, chemical use, energy use, and natural resource use etc.)?

    VITUS is extremely proud to voluntarily take part in the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), a co-regulatory not-for-profit organisation leading the development of a circular economy for packaging in Australia. In the latest report for the year 2021, we were honoured to be awarded top marks as "Beyond Best Practice", meaning we have received the highest performance level and have made significant progress on our packaging sustainability journey.   • How are the products your company offers made from environmentally friendly materials (e.g. recycled, organic materials)?

    From the product inside to the packaging on the outside, we only use the most environmentally friendly materials possible. Our products are packaged in either 100% recyclable glass bottles or 100% home compostable pouches, as well as being sent to you in 100% recyclable boxes & packing materials.

  • Do you partner with ethical factories that meet international labor standards? What processes have you implemented to make your supply chain more sustainable?

    We only use the highest quality ingredients from 100% ethical sources. We collaborate with industry experts to make sure every ingredient is not only effective and nutrient packed, but sustainably sourced from ethical companies. We have repeatedly turned down ingredients upon finding out that the company which produces it tests on animals or has any unethical practices.

  • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

    We have sponsored and collaborated with the Sydney Special Children's Christmas party, Edgars Mission Animal Sanctuary and our local animal shelter in the Southern Highlands, NSW.

  • How has your company made a commitment to achieve and maintain inclusion & diversity (e.g. Gender / Race / Ethnicity / National Origin / Sexual Orientation / Religion / Disability / Age)?

    We believe that everyone deserves the best of health. We provide accessible wholefood supplements that are beyond the highest quality, in the hopes of helping everyone feel their best self.
