We are proud to be officially partnered with 1% for the Planet and donate 1% of all our revenue to help support environmental and social non-profits that are committed to driving positive change for our planet. As an Australian family business, all of our Zea products are manufactured here in Australia, and a majority of our ingredients are also locally and sustainably sourced. All jars, tubes, bottles and pouches used in manufacturing Zea products are 100% recyclable in your local council recycling. In 2020-21, we moved our biggest-selling product, the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream to a 32% recycled plastic tube. We have partnered with Offset to make sure our shipping emissions are carbon neutral. Whenever possible, Zea sources from local suppliers.

  • Do you partner with ethical factories that meet international labor standards? What processes have you implemented to make your supply chain more sustainable?

    In 2020-21, we moved our biggest-selling product, the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream to a 32% recycled plastic tube. We also launched our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream (Bulk Size) to help reduce the amount of packaging we put out into the world. Our design team also uncovered other ways to reduce packaging such as screen printing labels instead of sticker labels which means less packaging produced, as well as increased recyclability of packaging. As an Australian family business, all of our Zea products are manufactured here in Australia, and a majority of our ingredients are also locally and sustainably sourced. All jars, tubes, bottles and pouches used in manufacturing Zea products are 100% recyclable in your local council recycling. We have partnered with Offset to make sure our shipping emissions are carbon neutral. Every month, we calculate the total emissions generated by our shipped orders, and that number goes towards forest protection initiatives. We are proud to be officially partnered with 1% for the Planet! Many of our farmers, manufacturers and suppliers are committed to sustainable farming and fair trade practices.   • How does your company give back to the community (e.g. financial donations, volunteering, partnerships etc.)?

    Key charity partners include: We are proud to be officially partnered with 1% for the Planet! We donate 1% of all our revenue to help support environmental and social non-profits that are committed to driving positive change for our planet. Greenfleet is a leading not-for-profit organisation and Australia’s first carbon offset provider, committed to protecting our climate by restoring our forests. The Karrkad Kanjdji Trust (KKT) was established by the Traditional Owners of Warddeken and Djelk Indigenous Protected Areas (IPAs) in 2010. The KKT works with Indigenous ranger groups in one of the most culturally rich and biodiverse regions of Australia: West and Central Arnhem Land. The Wheen Bee Foundation is an Australian not-for-profit charity that promotes awareness of the importance of bees for food security, and raises funds for research that addresses the national and global threats to bees.
